Nominations CommitteeThe Nominations Committee is responsible for the continuous fostering of interest in a leadership role among the membership. The Immediate Past Chair serves as the committee chairperson. The committee consists of five members in good standing and has been a regular member for 3 years or more. The committee is comprised of members who represent the interest of the following court types: urban court, multi-county court, county court at law, rural court, and a court of general jurisdiction. |
Elections for the Board of Directors takes place at the Annual Education Conference during the business meeting. To declare your candidacy, submit your Declaration of Candidacy 2026.docx form along with a letter of support from your judge to the Nominations Chair by July 1, 2026. Members may also nominate a candidate at the business meeting, so long as the nominee can present a letter of support.
